Take on Apple Rumours

I have been a huge fan of getting this so called "Apple Tablet" since I first heard of it, so many months ago. I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro. People that know me well know that I push this thing to the limits of what it can do. For me this is a desktop computer, based on how I work that is the conclusion I have come to for the use of this laptop for me. To me, this "iSlate" device would function as my notebook for all my college coursework. I do not like to carry my laptop from class to class everyday. Some days I have to sacrifice bringing textbooks with me to allow my laptop to be carried in my backpack. What I want this to be is an a device that I can write my notes, do my math examples, draw network diagrams, write code, and even process photos while on the fly. This is my hope and dream of this tablet device that is RUMOURED to be shown in just over a week from now. I have been a fan of apple products for the past 16 years. I have seen everything from the G4 Cube to the iPod. All the successes and failures in marketing and design. Apple has recently pulled into the leading industry position for design and elegant and sleek products. This means they have a lot of user appeal. Another thing about Apple is that they are extremely good at keeping secrets.
So good infact that there are websites that thrive off of discussion about the "could be", "what if" and "i heard" about Apple and the future of their products. I would like to clear up some confusion that these sites lead the masses to believe. I am going to define some terms and phrases that are commonly used on these sites:
I am just getting tired of these twisted words and non-sense of meanings because of terminology.

I would like to clear up some confusion that these sites lead the masses to believe. I am going to define some terms and phrases that are commonly used on these sites:
- Rumor: "rumor" means that the person posting has heard from one or more other sources that they consider to be reliable. This is never a fact because it is always listed as an anonymous source. What this means is that the very publisher could have made it up to get press, and does not have to disclose the source of said information upfront.
- Speculation: Random ideas thrown together without any sort of factual basis to support them
- Artist's Representation or mockup: This is not what the product will look like. The overall might be similar but the design is definitely not. These people are not Apple's designers, they are just designers. If they have any sort of talent that Apple is looking for, then they would not be posting mockups on a rumor site, but working for Apple instead.
- Leaked: Another way to say "rumor" without making it sound hypothetical.
